Onboarding Step 5: Meet the Ambassador
Layers generates an AI brand ambassador from your brand brief. Accept or edit.
This step generates an AI "brand ambassador" — a synthetic influencer portrait that Layers will use as a recurring face in UGC-style content. It is not a feature tour.
What happens
- The wizard starts generating a portrait using the target gender and brand context captured earlier (you see a loading screen with a rotating status card).
- When it's ready, the portrait appears with a suggested name and a short paragraph introducing the ambassador.
- Click Edit Influencer to regenerate with a different prompt, or Continue to accept.
On Continue, Layers saves the ambassador as a completed influencer in
the project's influencer library and wires it into the Social Content
layer (wireToContentLayer: true). You can manage the full list later
from
Project settings → Influencer media.
Errors
If the preview generation errors out, the wizard auto-skips ahead to the social step rather than blocking you.
