Phone Verification

Add a verified phone number from Account → Phone verification so Elle can message you over SMS / iMessage.

Flow

1. Enter your phone in E.164 format (e.g. +15551234567).
2. We send a 6-digit verification code via iMessage / SMS.
3. Enter the code within 10 minutes.
4. Phone is now marked verified.

Rate limit

A maximum of 3 verification codes can be sent per account per hour. If you hit the limit, wait an hour before requesting another code.

Removing your phone

You can unlink at any time from your account settings. Doing so disables Elle's outbound messaging to that number.
