# Creator Portal (/docs/ugc/creator-portal)



Layers does not currently operate a dedicated creator-facing web
portal. Creator interactions (onboarding, contracts, briefs, payouts)
for SideShift-managed UGC happen inside SideShift's own tooling.

For creators participating in a SideShift program, see SideShift's
documentation and portal for profile setup, brief receipt, submission,
and payout.

Layers surfaces only the brand-side view of creator operations — the
synced campaign state, creator roster, post performance, and
attribution — under `/project/{projectId}/ugc`.

## For self-serve UGC [#for-self-serve-ugc]

If you're running UGC directly (not through SideShift), brand-creator
communication happens outside Layers — email, DMs, your own CRM. Layers
only ingests the creator's public posts via SIFT.
