# Project Onboarding Checklist (/docs/projects/onboarding-checklist)



The create-project wizard handles the core setup. This checklist
covers follow-on tasks once the Project exists.

## After the wizard [#after-the-wizard]

* [ ] Review your [generated content](/docs/social/content-generation)
  — the initial batch (and anything you kicked off during the
  onboarding generate steps) lands on
  `/project/{projectId}/content/generated`.
* [ ] Verify [project timezone](/docs/projects/settings-general) — it
  defaults from your browser / user timezone, not from audience
  data. Change it if your audience is elsewhere.
* [ ] Review/edit the
  [brand details](/docs/projects/settings-general) — app name,
  description, tagline, target gender, language, brand voice.
* [ ] Confirm [social accounts](/docs/projects/settings-social-accounts)
  are connected for every platform you want to publish to.
* [ ] Upload additional [media](/docs/projects/settings-media) —
  logos, end cards, mobile screens / demo video.
* [ ] If you have a product catalog,
  [seed it](/docs/projects/settings-products) (name + image +
  description per item).

## Ads setup (optional, separate flow) [#ads-setup-optional-separate-flow]

* [ ] Review [layer options](/docs/concepts/layers) — Meta Ads
  Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Apple Search Ads are activated
  through the Layers UI, not this wizard.
* [ ] If you plan to run Apple Search Ads, see the
  [Apple Search Ads setup guide](/docs/paid-media/apple-setup) for
  credential requirements.

## SDK install (optional, separate flow) [#sdk-install-optional-separate-flow]

* [ ] Install the [Layers SDK](/docs/sdk/quickstart) for mobile
  attribution and CAPI forwarding.

## Notes [#notes]

* Project deletion is immediate and irreversible — see
  [Delete a Project](/docs/projects/delete). There is no archive state,
  no 30-day grace period.
