Ad Billing

Layers uses BYO (Bring Your Own) ad accounts. The platforms (Meta, TikTok, Apple) charge your account's payment method directly for media spend - Layers does not fund, hold, or mark up ad spend. See BYO setup.

How ad spend is billed

Optimizer launches ad → calls the platform with your BYO credentials
        ↓
Platform charges the payment method on your ad account
        ↓
You're billed by the platform directly

Layers' invoice

Layers' monthly invoice includes (at minimum): subscription, generation credits consumed, and a 5% platform fee applied to credit purchases (credit_pricing_config.platform_fee_percent). Exactly what appears depends on your plan. There are no media-spend lines and no platform fee on ad spend - that's billed by the platforms directly to your ad accounts.

Refunds

• Subscription refunds - prorated on downgrade.
• Unused credits - non-refundable; roll over 90 days.
