# Event Globe (/docs/events/globe)

The Events page renders a 3D globe behind the event feed. It's meant
for at-a-glance situational awareness — standups, demos, confirming
that traffic is arriving from the regions you expect.

## What gets plotted [#what-gets-plotted]

Pins are drawn from the current event list using each event's
edge-resolved city coordinates. Events without geo are still listed in
the feed but don't appear on the globe.

## Limits [#limits]

* Up to 50 pins on the globe at a time.
* Pins auto-expire after \~5 minutes (the globe is a live view, not a
  historical one).
* A 30 s tick recomputes the visible pin set.

## Filtering [#filtering]

The globe honors the event-type filters in the sidebar. Toggling an
event type off hides both its feed cards and its pins.

## What this view is NOT [#what-this-view-is-not]

* No historical replay, no time-window slider, no recorded sessions.
* No per-pin drill-down or popovers — drill in via the feed card on the
  right.
* No image / PNG export.
