# Delete Your Account (/docs/account/delete-account)



Self-service account deletion is not currently available in the app. To
delete your personal account or request deletion of personal data under
GDPR / CCPA / CPRA, contact support or file a request via the DSAR portal.

## What deletion removes [#what-deletion-removes]

Once processed, deletion removes:

* Your personal profile (name, email, avatar, phone).
* Your linked OAuth identities.
* Your active sessions.

## What deletion does NOT remove [#what-deletion-does-not-remove]

* **Organizations you own.** You must transfer ownership or delete the
  organization first. Organization deletion has its own process — see
  [Delete an organization](/docs/organizations/delete).
* **Content generated under an organization** remains with the organization
  (it would be unsafe to retroactively pull content from running ads or
  scheduled posts).
* **Audit and billing records** required for legal and tax compliance are
  retained with your identifier redacted where possible.
